Resilient Pasture & Forage Symposium

October 2-3, 2025

Join Oregon Forage and Grassland Council and Oregon State University Extension for the Resilient Pasture & Forage Symposium on October 2 – 3 in Salem, Oregon. Learn about soils, forages, livestock systems, and management to improve the resilience of your farm. Through keynote speakers, farmer panels, breakout sessions, and poster presentations, this is an opportunity not-to-be-missed to build your pasture knowledge, hone your skills, and network with passionate pasture and forage producers.

The Symposium will take place from the evening of October 2 through October 3 and will be proceeded by an optional tour of pasture-based farms and forage seed producers on the 2nd.

Have a research project, a success, or an idea to share? We’d welcome you to submit an idea for a poster to present at the Symposium. To do so, please submit a title and 250 word summary to Shelby Filley by September 12. Students, researchers, farmers, and industry members—all are welcome to submit a poster to present.
